Additionally, our psychiatrists address Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) such as Autism and Asperger's Syndrome, and trauma related conditions.
SBHS clinicians are licensed to treat children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics utilizing individual, couples, and family therapy. Areas of clinical expertise include ADHD, depression, anxiety, phobias, loss and grief, emotional and physical abuse, trauma and sexual assault, and domestic violence. Providers also assist with: adjusting to divorce, medical conditions, and other life changes; addressing school-related difficulties; managing stress, anger, and behavioral problems; and enhancing self-esteem and self-confidence. Additionally, they can provide coaching for parents of children with ADHD. SBHS Licensed Clinical Psychologists will provide comprehensive psychological testing and evaluations for all ages to help with differential diagnosis and assist with medication considerations and other treatment recommendations. Psychological testing can focus on cognitive ability, ADHD, neuropsychological functioning, personality and emotional functioning, severe mental illness, pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), substance abuse anger management, and juvenile and adult forensic issues. Our evaluations will assist with IEP considerations, address academic concerns, and provide physicians, counselors, and the courts with a clear diagnostic picture and direction for treatment.
